Well, well, well,
Let’s back up a bit here to when my oldest daughters were little and we lived in WA. Where we went to church was right near where the actual Birthday Express store was. My girls grew up with us going to their store for their birthday party supplies. I have to admit, I loved that store, too!
So, when I was considering my son’s 13th birthday, I knew Birthday Express was the company I wanted to get our supplies from. I let him go through the entire site and choose what he wanted.
Since he was going with a Packers theme, it was decided to go with the package. Much easier than picking and choosing piece by piece. I thought it would be fun to try a football cake, too so I got the football pan as well! That was a surprise.
Buddy and I have been trying to get an idea of who he wants to come to a birthday party and he still hasn’t even decided what he wants to do.
Since the whole family from his dad’s side was going to be up in Minnesota for the 4th of July, we figured it’d be a great time to celebrate his birthday! And they love birthday parties!
Now, the funny part is, everyone that came from out of state is from Chicago, hence they’re Bears fans. lol There’s this lovely rivalry between Bears and Packers fans. When I pulled out the decorations there were numerous groans. hahahaha
The whole family got involved with the decorating an the kids, after getting the balloons blown up proceeded to have a whacking balloon fight. Well, they were put to use. =)
Birthday Express knows how to bring a birthday party together! And all of the supplies were around $40 so they’re affordable as well!
Be sure to keep up with them on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube!

Happy Birthday to you special guy!
ReplyDeleteI have a football pan too... totally the wrong team, but great party theme!
Isn't it amazing how children have their own opinions? lol
ReplyDeleteI don't recall telling my 3-year-old son he could have one but he always does! I just wish that his opinion would be more inline with my own upon occasion. Currently, if it was the middle of daytime and I told him it was daytime, he would say its night.
No one ever said having a child wouldn't be a challenge. I am glad I up for the challenge. I know I love my son.
Aaron
Maybe he can save the decorations for the super bowl! I am a Denver Broncos fan, but since the Packers are in the AFC I can say that without harming my own team ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun party! My mom is from Wisconsin & my dad is from Chicago so I TOTALLY get the rivalry! :)
ReplyDeleteI saw the G and got all excited... except the colors are all wrong. They should be red, black and white. Go Dawgs! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the decorations! A one stop 'shop' for your party needs! Great job on the cake, I am hungry!
ReplyDeleteThe Chicago girl in me is not sure she likes your theme. LOL However, the football cake rocks!
ReplyDeleteMimi, I absolutely LOVE that football cake! Would be perfect for this coming fall during tailgating parties (or just get-togethers watching the game)! Happy belated birthday to him :).
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you guys had an awesome time and I am sure your son loved his theme. Now for me I would need Steelers decorations and that doesn't make sense to many people since I live in Ohio, hehe.
ReplyDeleteI will definitely have to check out Birthday Express for my girls next party - thanks for sharing!
I love that cake pan! I'm going to have to find one.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!
Love the Packers party supplies you picked out! My son is a huge Packers fan!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!!1 Looks like a great party with nice decorations. I love getting fun party supplies. I will have to check them out for sure for the next party.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a pretty sweet party...awesome cake! :-)
