My Awesome New Design!!

Ok folks, can you say "Ecstatic"? That's exactly what I am with my new blog look.

I spent the last couple weeks checking out other blogs, wondering how I could do certain things to spice it up. Unfortunately, I'm not .html savvy by any stretch of the imagination. So I started asking questions of other blog/website owners. My biggest question was how to have extra pages on my blog.

Well, one of the blogs that I had checked out, Penelope's Oasis, had a cute design. I sent her an email not realizing she'd had her page designed for her. As I went back to surf her blog (she does awesome giveaways) I noticed a button on the side of her blog. It said, "Crissy's Blog Design" and I knew I needed to check Crissy out.

So I headed to Crissy's site: Crissy's Blog Design. You can tell a lot about a person's abilities and creativeness by their site. Crissy's was adorable! I loved the bright colors, fonts, and the little additions: swirls at the end of the post & green tacks next to the post title.



I sent her an email after browsing other sites she had designed. I guessed it would take a bit of time to hear back from her. Was I wrong. She was so wonderful to work with and such a great communicator. Crissy answered all my questions honestly and had great ideas. I was so enamored with her kindness, we went for the gusto! For the time and effort she puts into designing a site she's worth more than what she charges. As you go along in the process, if you don't like a font or color or you have your own ideas to incorporate, she is more than happy to make a change and to let you know what you can or can't do.

If you're happy with the way your blog/site looks, but need a bit of sprucing up or that extra zing, Crissy can do that also. How awesome is that? Need a Signature, a post divider, personal button with html grab box, or a scrolling button widget? She'll do it for a minimal charge. But, I kid you not, once you go to Crissy's site and see how affordable she is for what she puts into it, you may want a total revamp. :)

I also had another idea to throw out there. Have you started thinking about Christmas gifts either for yourself or for the person who has everything? What about a new blog design? That's what I was going to ask for Christmas, but since connecting with Crissy there didn't seem to be a reason to wait! How awesome would a new blog design be for a present? Just something to put in your brain files!

I would like to take this moment to give my thanks to Crissy. She has been a blessing to me since I contacted her less than a week ago. I also want everyone to know that this post was not requested by Crissy. As she finished my new design, I just knew I wanted to let everyone know what she can do! Check her out. You won't be disappointed!
