The Prophecy by Dawn Miller
This novel is so awesome. It completely delves into the spiritual realm that is all around us, but for the most part are completely unaware of the goings on. I remember reading Frank Peretti years ago and being introduced to the spiritual battles that go on in the heavenly realms. It totally impacted me spiritually. The same goes for this book.
Dawn Miller makes The Prophecy believable, to a degree. Obviously this is fiction, but I can totally picture the battle that goes on for our spiritual lives. My 17 yr old daughter will devour this book. It has dark undertones, but that's because the attack is ON! When the enemy attacks, it's not sweet and charming. It's battle! And Dawn portrays that vividly!
I had a hard time remembering that the characters in the book are older teens. They talk and act like they're in their 20s minimum. When the author reminds us of their ages it's kind of a shock to my brain, "Oh yah, they're young and dealing with this."
Throughout the story, you can see the good and evil being brought to life! There's no way you'll be able to walk away from this story without having an idea that there are things unseen going on around us! So amazing!
