Red Skelton's Explanation of The Pledge of Allegiance

I pray that you have a happy and safe Independence Day.

My utmost gratitude to those who serve our country to help keep it free!

  1. It looks like some have gotten their way and called it a prayer and gotten it rejected from schools. What a shame! It's the most beautiful commitment a person can make to his/her country which only God created. Thank you for posting!

  2. That is a classic, Mimi, and I appreciate you reminding us of it by posting. I always watched Red Skelton when I was growing up, even got to see him in person once. I don't think anyone will ever compare to his humor, integrity and wisdom.
