  4. I actually <3 Ice fishing, but only if i'm in an ice house - and I don't have to bait my hook, or remove the fish, or filet the fish, or for that matter - eat the fish. (ew)!
    But! I love holding a pole and watching/waiting to see if there are going to be any fish coming :)

    I too, am way too scared to drive on the ice.

  8. I live in Michigan and that's what the lakes around here look like. My dad fishes year round... I hate it. And in the winter it's just to damn cold!

  12. How fun to see all the little huts on the lake! Have you ever tried ice fishing? I'm not a very patient fisher let alone sitting and doing it a cold hut on the ice... No thanks!

  13. I used to ice fish w/ my Grandpa all the time. The ice is scary, and it's FREEZING! Leland's family ice fish a lot and always want us to come. No thanks!

  14. Great photos! I can't wrap my head around ice fishing yet. I've just moved to NH from LA and this is quite odd to me. I saw a snowmobile on the frozen river the other night and still haven't gotten over that. So much for me to learn. :)
