Wordless Wednesday: Peonies & A Cat In A Box

Do you say “pee-uh-nees” or “pee-OH-nees”? I think this is a regional thing. I say the first one. Here in MN they say the 2nd one. This is the first year they’ve bloomed!IMG_7129Simba loves his box.     So funny. We had this discussion at book club last week. I say the second one and I was very out-numbered! lol. Too funny about the cat. My daughter got a kick out of that. Happy WW!

    I love peonies! They are so pretty. But, it's those ants that I just can't stand!! lol

    Love the peonies but I am laughing at the cat. Reminds me of mine right now. Especially since we're moving and boxes are everywhere.

    Not all Minnesotans say pee-OH-nees. My HB does. I say pee-uh-nees.

    Did you know that the old peonies are unavailable? They've been hybrid to eliminate the fragrance and thus the ants. We've been trying to find a certain one and can't as it's too old.

    I say the first way... pee-uh-nees. I have never heard it the other way. lol

    That is so cute about your cat. Mine is obsessed with anything she can put herself into. She likes to be in a laundry basket. LOL

    I had some almost that same color, but ours bloomed back in April (we're in Atlanta). Love the kitty!

    Oh, oh, oh! I loooove peonies (pee-uh-nees)! If it weren't for the Las Vegas heat (and my Black Thumb), I'd so love to try and grow some! *sigh*

    I have a tree peony & a reg. one. hubby moved the reg one & it doesn't do as well as the big tree peony, even tho they are in the same area. mine are a deep fuchsia. I like your pink. Cats love boxes, bags or anyplace they can squeeze their bodies into & hide or get ready to attack you! LOL
