We got to spend the day with extended family from Chicago. Unfortunately, all the activities they used to have in the small town we were staying didn’t have a thing for the kids to do other than the playground. It was such a disappointment.
On the lake for the boat parade. Then the pirate ship attacked…everyone. It was a free for all, but we’ll be prepared next year! Waiting for the fireworks to start.
The fireworks lasted about 15 minutes. So fast for the 3 hours we were in town! Next year we wait until dusk.

ReplyDeleteBoat parade sounds like fun. Sorry things didn't go so well for you. I didn't even time our fireworks but I think they lasted longer than 15 minutes. They do an awesome job. Unfortunately after a few pictures I was out of memory card space.
ReplyDeleteI love watching fireworks . . . unfortunately this year I missed them because of a friend's kid who had her own fireworks. Don't ask.
