Its always so wonderful when we can get together as a family. I miss having my daughters live with me. This is the first year I haven't had my 2nd daughter with us for Thanksgiving because she had to work. =(

I am looking forward to Christmas so I can spend the holidays with my kids. I'm working in California and opted not to fly home for Thanksgiving because I was completely burned out from 2 moves, starting a new job, and my startup.
On the one hand, I totally missed my family during the holidays. On the other, catching up on much needed sleep and getting organized at the new apt was so necessary. When I go home for the holidays, I'll be able to focus on spending time with my girls instead of sleeping.
