Tidy Cats No More PU #lifestinks

You’ve gotta love Twitter.

I was on there this weekend and noticed @TidyCats tweeting that they were going to be in Minneapolis. I figured there must be a pet expo or something going on in the Cities. I tweeted them to find out some more information.

The next thing I know, they’re coming to my house to clean up my PU. They kept calling it my PU and I was like, “Um, I don’t stink.” I know they meant my cats, but still, I was kind of starting to take it personal.

And not only are they coming to my house, they’re coming the next day…at 3:30pm. I looked around my house and all I could think of was, “Crap, we’re gonna have guests. This is bad news!” So, the boys and I cleaned. Of course I cleaned out the cat litter box. Are you crazy? Don’t people clean before a maid comes?

When I got home I saw a couple cars sitting outside the house. Man, no time to change out of my work clothes. The boys came home from school at the same exact time. We made sure the house was still in order and I went to introduce myself.

In the meantime, a HUGE truck had shown up that looked like a garbage truck with the Tidy Cats logo on it, lookin’ all official.

Here’s where it got VERRRRY interesting. There aren’t just a couple people here to clean the cat litter boxes. OOOOH no, that would be waaay too easy. Nope, there’s a film crew here.

Ho-ly ca-rap. A film crew. My house is not THAT neat. I haven’t Pinterested my one flight of stairs yet, the laundry room is a mess (it’s right next to the cat litter room), my entryway isn’t mopped. Oh. My. Gosh.

Buddy has NO interest in being on film so I look at Doodle and tell him it’s time to perform. The smile on his face was priceless. This kid has no problems being in front of the camera. They wanted me to be in it too so I had to go change out of my work clothes. oy vey

So, we do this whole introduction thing, Doodle shows them where the cat litter boxes are, they clean them out and leave us some goodies to enjoy…er, my cats to enjoy. I get to enjoy not spending money.

This is probably one of the cooler things that has happened by tweeting a company on Twitter. lol
