Wordless Wednesday: The Beach and an Impala

I had a full day, but I could just feel myself being pulled to the beach, even if it was only for a little while. So, I asked my boys if they wanted to go, but only Doodle did. We got to the beach around 5:30 and there wasn’t a soul to be found. It was 81 degrees people and no one was enjoying these dog days of summer.

Doodle and I settled in for a couple of hours of relaxation.

    I asked my kids to go to the lake not long ago too and only one wanted to... guess summer really IS coming to an end. *sigh*

    The 'only' reference on the price tag of that car made me laugh. :)

    I want the Chevy Impala! Sounds like the call of the beach was relaxing at least. Its always nice to find yourself in a secluded spot (even if it is normally busy) and enjoy the day!
