The Girls of Grace conference on is coming to Minnesota on September 22 at Grace Church in Eden Prairie. The conference, which is geared towards teen girls and their mothers, was started in 2002 by Point of Grace. Over 100,000 girls have been impacted over the past decade by the event. We will be celebrating throughout the entire “season” of Girls of Grace which extends through May 2013… but the Eden Prairie date is the official celebration.
How exciting that they’ll be celebrating their 10 yr Anniversary here in Minnesota. I had always wanted to take my daughter’s, but never had the opportunity.
It is a full, high-energy day featuring performances by recording artists and inspiring guest speakers. The day focuses on coping with common age-related issues through a positive Christian message. Some of the guest speakers for this season include: celebrity stylist Amber Lehman, inspirational author Annie Downs, FINDINGbalance (a Christian non-profit company with an emphasis on eating and body image) Founder and CEO Constance Rhodes, Youth Speaker and Director of Student Initiatives at Show Hope Chris Wheeler andGirl’s Director at WinShape Camps and daughter of Chick-fil-A founder, Trudy Cathy White.

I have three middle school daughters and though we've never been to Girls of Grace before, I know how important events like this can be. Thanks for promoting it!
