Taste of Home Tuesday: Grilled Orange Chicken Strips

I was pretty stoked (does anyone use that word anymore) to find out Reader’s Digest was ok with me sharing their recipes with my readers! So, if I can keep my act together and stay one step ahead, I’ll try to bring you a Taste of Home Best Loved Recipes every Tuesday.

This weekend it was absolutely gorgeous out so I knew it was the perfect time to grill. I had all the ingredients, I just needed to put my mind to it and get it done.

I love how easy the recipe is. Nine ingredients and the chicken, then two instructions! Can’t beat that! I can do ‘easy’! Depending on the recipes I will probably modify most of them to fit the pickyness of my boys. In this recipe I cut out the cumin because I knew that wouldn’t go over well with them. Plus I didn’t have it in the house. =/

I grabbed all the ingredients and got my counter cleaned off. Basically that means I moved everything to the dining room table so I could work! lol

And for the record, Doodle loved this. He asked me to save a piece of chicken to have the next day. THAT is a first!
