My co-worker and I have been exchanging tomatoes the last couple of weeks. She has awesome, eat them like candy, cherry tomatoes and I have a great crop of full sized tomatoes. She and I both love making toasted tomato sandwiches. I add avocado to mine. Cracked me up when she told me it takes 8 baby tomatoes to make her sandwiches. I’m trying to supply her with large ones so she can have a proper one!
Be sure to visit Full Time Mama as well!
Mmm! Tomatoes! I just made a BIG crockpot of homemade tomato sauce yesterday! My fingernails still have a bit of orange under them! lol
ReplyDeleteYou got so many! Yum! We normally too but the squirrels, chipmunks, and rabbits took all ours along with our summer squash and cukes!
ReplyDeleteNice tomatoes, yummy...
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by and linking up in our WWHop. I just did the same in your linky :)
Happy Wordless Wednesday!!
I'm not a tomato fan, but the rest of my family is. Gary grew up with toasted tomato sandwiches and he's got our kids hooked on them now too! :) Of course, none are as good as the ones with fresh tomatoes from the garden... Yours are looking great!
ReplyDeleteThose look great and I love fresh-grown, vine-picked tomatoes!
ReplyDeleteYUM! I LOVE tomatoes! Seriously, in the summer I could eat them all day!
ReplyDeleteOMG I need those cherry tomatoes. I just love them and could eat that whole bowl right NOW.
ReplyDeleteThose look so good! We've gotten a bunch on our plants, but I have no idea what they taste like. The younger kids eat them before they're fully ripe, so I haven't gotten any yet! lol
ReplyDeleteOh the possibilities... :)
ReplyDeleteMimi,
ReplyDeleteThose tomatoes look GREAT!!! I love when I get some green ones to make fried green tomatoes (It's the southern influence in me)

Yes, that would be kind of a pain to have to cut up eight little ones to make sandwich!
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to live in a place where we can grow our own veggies! <3 homegrown stuff! They look great!! And LOL @ 8 tomatoes for a sandwich! :)
ReplyDeleteI am so envious. I MUST have a garden next year!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love cherry tomatoes! I have a freezer full of full sized tomatoes I put up two weeks ago. I use them in my homemade spaghetti sauce!
