AT&T Mobile Safety~ Mobile Safety School Webinar & $50 Visa giveaway

If you read about my experience with my boys at Valleyfair this summer, you know how freaked out I was that I couldn’t find my son. I had no way to contact him or his brother.

Fast forward a couple of months and Buddy has his first phone. He had wanted to get an iPod, but when he found out if he paid for his monthly phone plan he could have a phone, he jumped on it! We found my oldest daughter’s old phone and it works like a gem. He wants to get a mobile plan. lol The kid is only 13 and has no way to pay for that bad boy. Besides, he just has no need to be online with a phone.

With my son having his first phone, he has more opportunities to use technology, but so do others. AT&T recognizes that technology allows families to be more connected, but at the same time brings issues such as bullying, over usage, privacy, texting while driving, and more. Thankfully they have a program to provide tips, tools and resources for parents to stay connected and safe.

Next week I’ll be participating in 1 of 3 Mobile Safety Seminars:

Oct. 23 at 1p ET - mobile safety for kids 8-11
Oct. 24 at 1p ET - mobile safety for kids 12-14
Oct 25 at 1p ET - mobile safety for kids 15-17

I wish I didn’t have to work on the 23rd because since Doodle is 9 it would be a good session for me to part of as well. I’m thankful that the seminar that’s available on the day I have off is the one with my oldest son who has a cell phone.

Now is your chance to get in on the live virtual AT&T Mobile Safety School briefing with experts as well as a $50 Visa Gift Card. The winner will have the choice of one of the webinars listed above.
