Morning Latte Makes My Breakfast Better ~ My Morning Blog Reading & Giveaway #lattelove

Mornings tend to be…mmmmm…a bit chaotic around my house. I’m not a morning person and like to sleep until the VERY last moment possible. Then it’s “holy moly I slept too long, I need to get the boys up and running.” Yes, every single morning…for years.

eh, I’m a slow learner.

But, once those boys are off…ahhhh I have an hour all to myself. Yep, I need to get ready for work and I can do that in the last 5 minutes before I dash out to the van. =)

I get my espresso maker heated up, make myself a latte, have a big bowl of Froot Loops and head down to my bedroom to catch up on my favorite blogs. It’s like starting my day off with a few friends.

Liz from A Nut in a Nutshell is always the first blog I go to in the morning. I’ve been reading her blog for a couple of years. She never fails to make me smile and some of her posts just crack me up. I’ve made one of the recipes she’s shared and plan on making more. I’ve asked her for advice and even got to meet her at BlogHer!

Kat from Mama’s Losing It is SO much fun! She has posts that she does on a regular basis and I actually found her from one of my other favorite blogs (my next one) because she would do Kat’s writing prompts. I thought it would be a good way to jumpstart more personal blogging. Kat’s vlog posts are great and her sense of humor throughout her site makes me want to go back time and time again!

Leigh from Sorta Southern Single Mom blogs anonymously, and I hope one day to actually meet her. She talks about day to day life, but she’s just so real and someone I can completely relate to as a single mom myself. She’s seeing a guy she’s dubbed “Lawn Boy” and right now she’s trying to figure out how he fits into her and her kids lives. Not an easy thing to always know what to do!


I also enjoy Alesha from Full Time Mama. She absolutely adores her family and they are so crazy active! I’m on a blogging group with her and she’s such an encouragement! I also do Wordless Wednesday with her and link up to her meme with two other friends in our Facebook blogging group for Delicious Dish Tuesday.
