Until We Hug Again: Holiday Gift Guide Giveaway

When I went to BlogHer this summer, I was privileged, thanks to Vanessa, to attend the Hallmark event. We were given a tour of all the new products coming out for the holidays. The one that really caught my eye was the Until We Hug Again Bear.

At the time, I thought it would be the perfect thing to send to that “someone special” for anyone that was away from their loved one. Then, because I knew the boys and I were moving away, I thought this would be the perfect thing to share between us and my daughters who will be staying and living in Minnesota.

It won’t be easy living away from them. So, not only will the bear be something we can send back and forth to each other, we can send it on special days like birthdays and holidays.

If you’re like me, you might not live near you family. I haven’t lived near mine since I was 18. That’s a long time! This bear would be perfect if you have grandparents (like us) who live too far to travel to you on Christmas day! They could send a special message to your child for Christmas morning! How sweet would that be?

Here’s what you do. You press the bear’s foot, listen for a beep and after you hear the beep, then you can start recording your message. Every time the bear is hugged, it will play the message!

You also have the option of saving your message so that it always stays the same by accessing the battery box inside/underneath the bear. All you have to do is open the battery door and slide the button to lock your message! Pretty slick, eh?

We thought so. I had the boys start leaving a message to the girls and then I was going to chime in at the end. Kind of hard to do that and take a photo at the same time!

I’m so excited to give this to the girls for Christmas!
