We’re shocked at how small the lockers are at the new school. Kids put their backpacks on TOP of them. lol The deer we saw right outside of the elementary. The boys with new friends!
The only people missing in this photo are my brother and his girlfriend. They headed to Wisconsin for Christmas.
Be sure to visit
Full Time Mama also!
Good luck on your new venture!
ReplyDeleteLook at y'all starting to settle some! YAY!
ReplyDeleteThose are sooo small. I remember having tiny lockers in middle school, but they were 2 tall - so we couldnt put our back packs on them.
ReplyDeletei love the family picture!
We have small lockers here too. My son refused to bring his coat because he says he won't have room for his books and stuff in his locker if he stuffs his coat in there. And I LOVE your dinner table! What an awesomely big family!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that you have made it safely to your new place! I prayed for you and thought of you throughout the holiday season. My One Word for 2013 is Journey... and it sounds like that could be yours as well!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you, dear friend!
What purpose do those lockers serve?! LOL!!
ReplyDeletewow, that locker is small!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back to WW! :) That locker does look SOOOO small!! Whoa. Glad to see the boys have made new friends! Great Christmas photo, too!
ReplyDeletewill that locker even hold a coat or books?
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Those lockers ARE small! :) Seeing deer outside the school would totally make my day. :) Love that your family is all sporting crowns at your Christmas table - too fun! :)
ReplyDeleteWishing for Good Snow
Oh my gosh! I have never seen lockers that tiny!! Hehe. Love the pic of the deer :).
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are settling in nicely! It will all be fine after all!! <3 You!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, there's something seriously wrong with those lockers. Why do they need to be so tall? Instead, make them shorter and wider, to fit the size of the books and bookbags, sheesh! (you just *know* a man designed these!)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Meemstress, wishing you the best in your new home and life!
I am so excited for you guys! What a great time with your entire family (less the brother and gf of course). Cant wait to hear how the boys settle in their new school (even with the tiny lockers)! LOL!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great family photo! You know I already wish you the best on your new endeavors! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThat looks fun! Love the hats Lol
ReplyDeleteI am so glad they are already making new friends - that can be the hardest part.... And what is the story behind the "crowns" on your heads in the family picture?
ReplyDeleteWOW - those lockers are basically useless, huh? How silly.
ReplyDeletethose are small, LOL
ReplyDeleteStarting over in a new place can be really fun. I should know - I moved 13 times in my childhood (not including college and after). It is a fresh start and the chance to make great first impressions and make new friends. Enjoy it. Take the time to get really involved in the community. I am glad that you made it safely to your destinations over the holidays... I know it was not always a smooth ride.
ReplyDeleteWOW those lockers are tiny! How can they fit anything in there? I love the family photo!
