JABRA Wireless Headphones Review ~ Holiday Event

 Jabra Disclosure
Back in June, Buddy got his first pair of over-the-ear headphones for this birthday. They were super cute, no-name headphones…that lasted a month! Ugh, no, we didn’t go with a reputable brand like Jabra. =( We went with a wired headphone that we knew nothing about. The plug literally came apart.

This year, when I started thinking of Christmas presents for the boys, I knew headphones would be on my list. We do a lot of driving and that driving is typically for a couple of hours. When we travel, the boys watch movies.

When we moved from Minnesota, we brought along our “watch movies in the car speakers”, but they broke at some point and the boys have been trying to wear in-the-ear headphones. Again, they have ones they got for free and kill their ears.

I was so excited to be able to partner with Jabra for the holidays. I was sent a pair of wireless headphones, that I promptly tried to set up on my computer, and promptly screwed up. lol I may have issues with some tech gadgets. I was able to immediately get them to work on my phone, and the instructions that come with the headphones, make it crazy easy.

The boys are CONSTANTLY using my phone to listen to YouTube videos and music and honestly, it makes me nutty! Oh, and the “reason” it makes me nutty? Have you listened to the same video 30x in one day? I’ve had the pleasure of it and wireless headphones are now going to be a Godsend! Bits of my sanity may be salvaged…maybe!
Jabra Revo Headphones[5]
Now, I have to say I haven’t had a lot of use for headphones aside from when I used to mow our huge lawn. Other than that, I haven’t needed them like my boys. I had no idea that over-the-ear headphones would actually come back in style. I’m not so behind the times that I didn’t know that happened several years ago, I just didn’t have kids that needed or cared about them.

I have to say, “yay me” because I got to try out these awesome headphones before my boys. And tonight, while we were out shopping Buddy said to me, “You need to get me headphones for Christmas.” Oh yea, mama’s going to score gifts this year!

Let’s talk about the headphones! Fred came over to set up the Jabra headphones on my laptop so I could make sure how they worked and sounded. It only took him a couple of minutes and he was able to do what I couldn’t do!
Jabra Set Up[5]
Oh my gosh, the sound was SO clear! The controls are on the headphones and I am still on a “getting to know you” basis. Are your kids like mine and would have the entire set figured out before they got them out of the box? I was able to figure out the volume. That’s a start, right? hahahaha
Revo Wireless[4]
As you can see above, they fold up easily and fit into this small bag for easy transporting. The headphones come with two cords. One you can use to plug with a USB into your computer to charge the battery and the other you can plug into your speaker. When I got the headphones, I didn’t realize that I could use it with my phone, too! Actually, when I turned the headphones on, they immediately told me to turn on the BlueTooth function on my phone.

I love that there’s a mic so if one of us is using the cell phone and a call comes in, we can leave the headphones on and take the call. I just have to remember that everyone else can hear me! heh heh heh
Jabra Wired or Wireless[4]
I can’t wait for Buddy to find these under the tree for Christmas. It’s going to be hard to hold him off for a month, but I’m tough, I can do it!

Do your kids have wireless headphones on their Christmas list?

  5. I have an old pair of mediocre headphones that don't work very well and aren't very comfortable. I'd love to be able to swap them out for a pair of these!

  15. I'd love a pair of these in my household! I'm a caretaker to my mom, and while we both like some music, others (like metal) my mom doesn't care for. I could wear these and not bother her. Similarly, I wouldn't have to listen to her watching stuff from her new tablet in the next room in the middle of the night because she has insomnia.

  22. I LOVE that these are wireless. I like to wear headphones in the evening when others are home & have the tv or some other noise making device going, lol. I can't tell you how many times I decided to just not mess with the headphones because I can't stand the wires/cords all over my desk top!

  23. These would be good for my niece. Headphones can be so expensive and most of the time they break. I'll have to show these to my sister :)
