SOL REPUBLIC Tracks AIR: Holiday Giveaway

When SOL REPUBLIC replied to me about their amazing wireless headphones, I danced around my house! I had been SO hoping to work with them! They have got the most amazing new headphones called the Tracks AIR and we absolutely had to have them!

There’s so much I want to say about them I’m trying to figure out where to start. First, let’s talk about what you get with the Tracks Air. When you see them for the first time, You’ll notice the ear covers are separate from the headband. The reason for that is so you can customize the PowerTrack™ headband to whichever color you want!

It’s easy to figure out which piece goes on which side and if you try to put them on upside down it doesn’t work, I found that out. =) You’re able to see the little R and L to match them up to the headband. The left side of the headband has the Motorola logo inside to make matching it up and putting it on, easy.

You will not believe how amazingly comfortable the entire headset is once you have it on. The padding at the top of the headband and on the ear pieces makes wearing them for longer periods of time extremely comfortable. After wearing these, I’d never go back to in-ear headphones. If you dropped the headphones down to your neck to leave them there, the cushioning on the headband gives plenty of comfort. They use what is called SonicSoft™ Speaker Pads.

Sound quality…you will just die of bliss! Clarity, clarity, clarity. It’s such a crisp, clear sound, I was blown away. I listed to YouTube videos and had Fred call me so I could try out answering a call. It wasn’t hard to figure out and it’s really nice that if I’m on my tablet and my cell phone rings, I don’t have to take off the headphones, I can just answer with them! Yes, even if I’m already doing something else. Push of a button and I can switch devices! Everything is right there on the headphone and if I can figure it out in one try, then anyone can.

With the Tracks AIR, you can use the Bluetooth EASYPAIR™ or NFC™ option. You can tap the side of the right ear piece to pair with your device. After you have your device on, be sure the Bluetooth option is enabled. Once you tap your ear piece, they “should” be paired!

It’s clear that SOL REPUBLIC has made these headphones with everyone in mind. A mom, a 14 yr old using them to watch videos on his tablet or someone who is big into music, they’re perfect for anyone!

To charge the headphones, there is a Micro USB Charge port. You also have the option of using the wire cable that comes with the package. There’s also a bag included, but seriously, these babies are too nice to just keep in a bag, at least where my boys are concerned. I think I’ll have to get a small box to store them in, especially when we’re traveling.

Let’s talk battery life as well! For our lifestyle, having wireless…anything…we need something that will stay charged for a long period of time. I wish Christmas had been last week with all of the travel we’re doing last weekend and in two more weekends. Driving out to Virginia is a good 2-3 hr test of patience with these two boys. Both want to watch movies or play games, but neither wants to hear what the other one is doing. Thankfully, you can get up to 15 hrs of AIR time!
