Wordless Wednesday: Winter in Maryland

So far, the boys and I haven’t been very impressed with the Maryland winter. We’ve seen glimpses of snow a couple of times, but like when I lived in Washington, it disappears rather quickly. Maryland-Winter
I thought seeing white across the expanse of Minnesota for 4-5 months was hard to handle, but it’s been a dull brown here since September? I’m thinking that’s even more depressing.

Yes, there’s a bonus that it hasn’t reached –60 here. The downside is, when it snows, or there’s a hint of snow, everything shuts down. The boys have had more days off here than any year back home. I have a feeling the boys will be going to school until July at this rate.

Today was another day off because of “inclement weather”. It finally started snowing around 12:30pm. At this rate, school will be closed again tomorrow. I really need these boys to go back to school. This tiny house with all 3 of us in it all day long is driving me insane!

I've been dying to see some real snow in Memphis, but it's been years. We had a few flurries today but not actual SNOW.

We RARELY get snow here either. Every few years we get to see a little - I was hoping for some this year...but its not looking so great. Today was in the 60s, but tomorrow is supposed to be cold. Well REALLY cold for us. :) No snow, though!

I think it still looks beautiful!! We have nothing that causes schools to be cancelled, so I have no idea what that would be like. I can only imagine you'd be ready for them to go back, and the idea of having school last into July sounds insane!

The weather is all over the place in Nebraska. On Sun. it was 64! I went out and washed the car. It was a record high. Today was cold and full of flurries.
