Johnson & Johnson Disclosure
I wanted to make some sweets for my Sweets this Valentine’s Day! I’ve never used SPLENDA® before and thanks to Johnson and Johnson along with TheMotherhood.com I was given the opportunity!

Since I wasn’t sure how to convert SPLENDA® I headed to their website to learn more about how to use it. Guess what, you use the same amount as regular sugar! Bonus! Valentine’s Day makes me think of chocolate so I headed right for their desserts!

After scrolling through their scrumptious desserts and finding something everyone (not just me hahahaha) could enjoy, I decided to try my hand at Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheesecake Cups. You can find the recipe at their site.

I’m not sure where I did something screwy with the recipe, but for some reason, I had a TON of extra crust and filling. lol I think I might’ve gotten the wrong size “mini” cupcake liners. Bonus to the extra is I can make lots more than I had anticipate! Mine were basically bite size pieces. Thank goodness they have less calories! HA!

I’m excited for my date tomorrow. Fred has dinner plans made for us and he’s pretty thrilled with himself about the gift he’s gotten for me. No, he’s not popping the question. lol Whatever it is, he just got it in the mail. I’ve been trying to squeeze it out of him, but he won’t budge.

Well, I’ll be bringing along a container of these and the gift I got him. Last year I made him a gift, but this year I thought I’d get something a bit more “romantic”. He needs to get a hobby to make gift giving a bit easier for me! =)

What are you doing for Valentine’s Day? Will you be baking?

  1. I try not to make a big deal out of this one... I'm in the "you should be doing and saying these things year round" camp. That said, I got cards and some candy for the kids and may whip out a heart-shaped pizza for them. Those peanut butter cups look yum! Have a great date!

  5. I HOPE he'll be popping the question! ;) Also, I need to try those tasty treats. They look amazing, and extra crust and filling would be eaten out of the bowl if it were at my house. :)

  6. For a second there I thought this recipe was going to have Listerine in it. I will try anything once, but that would have been to far.

  8. We didn't really celebrate Valentine's Day this year. I just enjoyed my grandchildren watching them with their Valentine school candy. They had a lot of fun.
