Earlier the year my son was able to break out of his boring sneaker life. He was able to do a review of Lugz Fortitude sneakers. He's never gone back to wearing his old shoes...except to work where they get trashed. Now for the fall, he's getting the opportunity to expand his horizons again by reviewing their Prospect!
Get this, the boy doesn't find it easy to break out of his style mode. He's really a t-shirt and jeans kind of guy. Nothing wrong with that, but I'd like him to try more things. This summer, when we were down in Williamsburg, my oldest daughter got him to try polos and more dress up shirts. Guess what? He loved it!
He was so funny. When the Prospect boots showed up, he put them on with his basketball shorts. He was like, "This just doesn't look right." hahahahaha Oh dear, do you see what I have to work with? Poor kid. I've done him a disservice by not giving him a better sense of style as he was growing up. lol
Finally he tried them on with jeans, and BAM! He realized how good he looked in those boots. Of course my concern is that he looks good in those boots. hahahaha Don't girls dig a rugged, well dressed guy? I don't want girls looking at my handsome kiddo! Ha! My mom couldn't stop talking about how much she loved them. I thought she was overdoing it, but realized she was being serious.
One of the things he realized was, when he wears them he has to wear longer socks. He had on bootie socks and the boots were rubbing up against his leg hair. Guy problems. I hadn't let him wear them until I got pictures of them while they were still pristine. I guess since we hadn't thought of it, we'll have to go get him some new socks with his new boots!
It's so great that I can work with companies who will help stretch my kid! He has a good thing going with Lugz, and I love how great they look on him, and the confidence he has when he's wearing them. Now you have the opportunity to win a pair as well! Since this is a hop, be sure to enter my giveaway then hop to the next one! You'll love all the prizes.
