Welcome to the Blog Tour for Forgotten Memories by Penny Zeller, hosted by JustRead Publicity Tours!
ABOUT THE BOOK
Title: Forgotten Memories
When we meet Annie she's young and traveling with her family to their new life. At the same time we meet Caleb whose path crosses with hers in a not so great way. Even in the beginning we can see Caleb's gentle heart.
The elements I enjoyed were seeing Caleb's redemption and people in his town seeing the good in the boy he was when they met him, Annie was following her dreams, and the strong faith through the characters. There was actually a surprise in the story I wasn't expecting.
It was a bit predictable and while Caleb's little sister's desire to use big words was amusing, it started to drive me crazy. There were a couple parts that didn't quite make sense (maybe add up), but I think for the story they worked.
This was my first book by the author and I look forward to checking out the rest of the series.
